July 20, 2000 - Eidetics Corporation has completed the acquisition of the Precision Gunnery Training System (PGTS) and Training Simulation Group from Perceptronics, Inc. The new group will be called Perceptronics Training Systems (PTS) and will operate as a division of Eidetics Corporation.

Many of the former employees of Perceptronics have returned to PTS to begin work on two new recently signed PGTS contracts for Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The PTS division is located in Chatsworth, CA in an 11,000 sq. foot industrial building.

The technology acquired as a part of this transaction includes the TOW and DRAGON missile simulation, tank, helicopter, and truck driving trainers.
